Takahisa Fujinami announced ahead of the Trial GP event in Portugal this past weekend that the race would be his last. The Repsol Honda Team rider is retiring after a legendary career.
Some of those who have accompanied Fuji’s professional career wanted to thank him for everything he has done for the sport with a farewell video. Toni Bou, Doug Lampkin, Jordi Tarrés, Dani Pedrosa, Marc Márquez and Pol Espargaró, among others, were part of the video and, together with the Repsol Honda Team, dedicated a few words to a charismatic, much loved competitor.
The Repsol Honda Team thank Fujinami for everything he has given us, as well as all the good times we have shared together on this exciting adventure. Good luck for the future, Fujigas!
