The Portuguese circuit will hold this weekend the first round of the series, that this season will include again the Moto3 Junior World Championship, the Moto2 European Championship and the European Talent Cup.
On Sunday, the first of the eight rounds of the 2018 FIM CEV Repsol calendar will take place in Estoril. The series, that has become the stepping stone to the World Championship, will visit three countries –Portugal, Spain and France– that will welcome nearly one hundred riders from 25 different countries who will try to get to the MotoGP World Championship. This is the sixth season in which the energy company supports the future motorcycling champions’ cradle, following its social commitment with the training of young talented riders.
As it happened last season, the FIM CEV Repsol will have three classes again this season: the Moto3 Junior World Championship, the Moto2 European Championship and the European Talent Cup, that had a successful debut in 2017. The replacements for Dennis Foggia, Eric Granado and Manuel González, current Moto3, Moto2 and European Talent Cup champions, respectively, will come from these categories.
