The first tests of the season have ended with an unproductive day for Repsol rider Marc Márquez. After the rain that fell over night, the asphalt at the Circuit de Catalunya took almost half the day to completely dry out and when it had, the low temperatures prevented the track from reaching optimum temperatures to ride at a good pace.
This prevented Marc Márquez’ team from carrying out their plans, who intended to continue working on the set-up of the Derbi RSA today. The Repsol rider finally opted not to go out on the track in these conditions and will be back in action on Monday 1 March at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo.
