The Repsol Honda Team will be officially presented to the press and fans in the Palacio de Deportes in Madrid this coming Saturday in an act that will coincide with the final round of the World Indoor Trial Championship. The perfect occasion to see the latest design used on the Honda RC212V 2009 version first hand, a bike that will be ridden by Dani Pedrosa and the Italian Andrea Dovizioso during the season that gets underway shortly.
Owing to the fall that Dani Pedrosa had in Qatar when training just a week ago and the total rest that his doctors have prescribed, the Spanish rider cannot be in the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid in person. But Dani himself has said that he does not want to miss out on the presentation and so thanks to the latest technology the Repsol Honda Team rider says that even though he cannot be there physically he will be there in virtual form. Exactly how he does this will be revealed next Saturday at 19:00.
At 19:00 Andrea Dovizioso will be in the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid to speak to the press. There the Italian rider will give his first impressions concerning the official Honda RC212V, his signing for the Repsol Honda Team and explain how his 2009 pre-season work is going. This press conference will take place in the Sala de Prensa inside the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid.
Afterwards the presentation of the Repsol Honda Team will be made, this will coincide with the final round of the World Indoor Trial Championship 2009, a competition where the rider Toni Bou (Repsol Montesa-HRC) was proclaimed World Champion for the third time just two weeks ago in Italy. So then, this is a good chance to see the unveiling of the Repsol Honda Team in person and at the same time the three times winner of World Championship fighting to win the final indoor round of the season.
