When you talk about the figures of Repsol in the world of competition, you usually think about how many races they have won, how many world championships were achieved by their riders or how many years they have been taking part in the World Championship.
However, there are also important figures making up the Repsol Honda Teams in the Motorcycling World Championship. You should never reduce the hard work of a great team to cold and aseptic figures, but when we’re talking about such a large structure it is worth remembering what may sound like a cliché of many riders: “…and I want to thank the team for the great job they are doing”.
In the current 2007 season, the Repsol Honda Team has strengthened its presence in the world championship even more with a second bike in the eight-of-a-litre class. Now there are six bikes on the track with the orange, white and blue colours in the different world championship classes. But in addition to the six riders competing, the Repsol Honda Teams move seventy-one people to every Grand Prix, distributed into race teams, technical chiefs, hospitality and communication. They are professionals from more than eleven countries who allow this machinery to work as expected. A large family that makes it possible for the Repsol Honda Team to be at the highest level worldwide in motorcycling, both as regards results as well as service, marketing and communication. These figures show that it is possible to make heavy machinery work with people from all over the planet when they are professionals united by the same passion: the passion for motorcycling and competition.
