Toni Bou

“It was a fantastic year, with nine consecutive victories and more wins than even in one season: thirteen. When I didn’t win, I was second, which is very important, and I’m very satisfied. I couldn’t finish with a win, which I would have liked a lot, but nevertheless we’re happy with our success. I also want to congratulate Adam [Raga] for the great championship he did, but also my team, which worked incredibly well. They did a great effort and I’m very happy to work with them.”

Takahisa Fujinami

7th – 50 points

“Today I didn’t go as bad as yesterday. I felt much better, but I still made some mistakes. I’m very happy to have finished fifth in the World Championship and I have to thank mainly the doctors and assistants that made it possible. Now I’ll start working with them to prepare for the future. I’m very happy to have been able to finish my 20th World Championship in the top 5, although… I wanted to finish in the top 3!”

Jaime Busto

6th – 43 points

“It wasn’t easy for me, because I had to run with fever and my head hurt a lot in the zones. But I felt quite well in the morning and I was able to do some good lap to finish sixth. In the Championship I also finished sixth and it’s something I couldn’t have thought possible in my first season. I want to thank the team for their trust and their hard work; I did try to return it with good results.”
