Toni Bou starts the 2015 X-Trial World Championship with a victory

The Repsol Honda rider won the 2015 FIM X-Trial World Championship round that took place yesterday in Sheffield, Great Britain.

 

The eight times World Champion, Toni Bou, continued his winning streak in the Indoor competition and gathered his 27th consecutive triumph yesterday in Sheffield. The first round of the 2015 X-Trial World Championship saw a flawless Toni Bou that achieved an indisputable victory both in the first and the second lap.

 

The Repsol Honda rider finished the first pass through the six zones of the round with the best result. In the second lap, Bou dominated again on the demanding areas that forced him to secure in one of the zones. He ended with the same score of the first phase and won the race, as his rivals were not able to finish the obstacle.

 

With this result, the Repsol Honda rider takes the lead of the Championship. The next round of the 2015 X-Trial World Championship will be in Marseille, next January 31st.

 

Toni Bou, 1st:

“I’m very happy to have started the year in this way. I was a bit nervous and I wanted to start aggressively. I think I did very well. During the last months of the year we worked a lot and I am very satisfied with the job we did and that I was able to be strong today.”
