The Repsol rider achieves in Bielefeld (Germany) another Indoor World Championship title one round before the end of the season.
Toni Bou became today X-Trial World Champion—Indoor— for the seventh time in his sporting career. In the second-to-last round of the season, which was held today at the German city of Bielefeld, the Repsol rider secured the Championship with a victory. With this new title under his belt, Bou keeps writing pages of this sport’s history, after achieving his thirteenth World Championship title —7 X-Trial and 6 Outdoor—, all of them consecutives.
His success in this championship arrives after three victories in the three rounds held up to now. Sheffield (Great Britain), Barcelona and Málaga (Spain) yielded to the Repsol rider’s supremacy before the round held in Bielefeld (Germany) today. With this new triumph, the several times World Champion has gathered 20 consecutive wins in the series.
Bou will be able to face the last Grand Prix of the year in France (April 12th) with no pressure.
The Repsol rider will arrive tomorrow, Sunday 24th. to Terminal 2 of the El Prat Airport (Barcelona), at 14:30 from Hannover, on the German Wings flight.
