“I’m very happy, specially after what happened yesterday. I had a complicated time tonight, with lots of liquid in my knee, but during the race I was able to stand the pain. Thank you to the team and specially to my team mate Fujinami, who also suffered a similar knee injury. I had a bad time, saving each zone nearly at the limit, but in the end I got a fantastic first place that is great for the championship.”

“After Japan it was difficult to get my confidence back, with bad races in Andorra and Portugal, but I could finally get on the podium again after recovering the good feeling in France. I’m also very happy for my team mate Toni [Bou], specially after injuring his knee. Today I had a small crash in zone four, but I did my best to be able to finish third. We are on the good track to face the end of the championship, but we’ll have to keep working.”
