Recorded with a hidden camera, the MotoGP riders surprise drivers who stop to refuel at a Repsol service station.
Bank holiday weeks are a time for many trips by road. A stop at a service station is an essential part of these journeys for refueling, stretching the legs and buying something to eat. But this year there could be some surprises in store!
During this Spring break, you may meet Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa at one of the more than 4,200 Repsol service stations in Europe. That is what has happened to the lucky customers of a service station in Spain, who would never have imagined that they would be served by the two MotoGP stars.
Disguised as employees of the service station, the Repsol Honda team riders behaved like the great professionals they are, this time handling the pumps and nozzles. “We have to earn our salary here”, joked Marc Márquez, a four-time MotoGP World Champion, before adding: “This petrol is like a perfume -it motivates us”.
From March 23rd-28th, and on April 1st, Repsol are lowering the prices of premium fuels. In addition, from March 23rd to April 1st they will raffle two daily prizes of 1,000 euros each to help customers enjoy the holidays even more.
There are plenty of surprises prepared at the Repsol service stations: Discounted products, prizes… and maybe Marc Márquez and Dani Pedrosa filling up your tank, between jokes and laughter.
